ABOUT
The Finnmark X Project
Finnmark X is a creative intersection where sound, light, and digital structure meet. Heavily influenced by the beauty of the Vadsø Municipality in the Finnmark County of Norway, the project explores the vastness of the Great North through an artistic style I like to call Arcticwave.
THE VISION
An Atypical Perspective
This project is a direct reflection of my perspective as a neuroatypical person. It translates the sensory intensity of the Arctic – the pulsing Northern Lights, the blue silence of the Polar Night, and the biting wind – into rhythmic and atmospheric digital structures.
Finnmark X embraces a hybrid creation process: I use artificial intelligence and advanced digital means as modern instruments to sculpt soundscapes. For me, these are new ways to translate my nights at Aurora Labs into sounds, transforming the light captured at the edge of the world into an auditory experience. While textures and structures are shaped through mathematical algorithms and digital architectures, the soul of the project remains deeply human, guided by a neuroatypical focus on patterns, curation, and resilience.
THE CREATOR
Who Is Finnmark X
Finnmark X is a project driven by me, Sergiu. I am a digital creator at Curelea.NET, where I specialize in website design, visual identity, and video production. This project is an extension of my life at Aurora Labs in Vadsø (in Finnmark, Norway) – the place where I spend some winter nights standing at the edge of the World, capturing the light that inspires these sounds. As the curator of this project, I oversee every frequency to ensure it faithfully reflects my experience at the edge of the world.
